"Best Funeral Ever" which premiered yesterday on TLC is a travesty to all (well at least to me). The reality show, which follows the Golden Gate Funeral Home located in Dallas, Texas. The funeral home is well known for their outlandish-themed funeral. Many people think that Golden Gate is just acting for the cameras, they are really not. My dislike for the show comes in because although I believe that funerals should be a joyous celebration, this is just too much. In my opinion, the grieving family should save the outlandishness of it all for the repast. Why in hell would someone want Santa Claus at their funeral?!
If you want a Christmas theme, why don't the attendees wear green and red and give out presents at the repast?
If you want a BBQ theme, just serve BBQ at the repast!
Death is already is solemn event......I just can't deal with this show......I am roasting TLC as a whole in a post coming real soon.....oh, yes.
